Hi everyone,

I [31/F] have met a really great guy [34/F] on Bumble. We have had a bunch of FaceTime pseudo-dates, but unfortunately we've been unable to have a date in a cafe or restaurant because of government enforced lockdowns. He has invited me over to his house, and I feel comfortable doing so after seeing him and his house on camera.

I have quite a complex medical history because I have lupus, which I have told him about. He was fine with it, and his biggest concern at the moment seems to be that I can't tolerate horror movies. I haven't yet told him I have a hand tremor, but it will be obvious once we meet. It is not degenerative - it is a condition called essential tremor. It significantly affects my fine motor skills, including eating.

Would it bother you if your date had a hand tremor?

Also, how would you recommend telling him? I may be getting surgery for it in the future, but all non-urgent surgery is currently cancelled because of COVID-19, so there's a chance I may not have a tremor in the future.

My husband does not love me the way I want to be loved. He does not want to spend time with me doing things like board games or card games. He does not want to do chores together, like cooking or cleaning. Either he does it and I leave or I do it and he leaves. He just wants to be left alone to play video games with his "Fake Friends", whom don't even want to spend time with him in real life. He does not come to bed with me, we haven't had sex in many years. I ask him to have sex and he always has some excuse, like his body hurts, or he is tired or let's try tomorrow which means never. He spends a ridiculous amount of money on really dumb things that he never uses and gets mad at me for pointing it out. I try to save and invest. He really loves to smoke, and I do not. He just seems to care about himself and I try to care for him and for us. I try to get a baby sitter but he says stuff like "you can go on your stupid date night by yourself". He is always mad at me. I ask him "really, you want me to cancel?" and he doesn't answer. He is always bragging about himself and says things to me that seems like he only does things to sound like he is "better" than me. I some times wish I was not with him. I was with someone who liked to watch movies with me, enjoyed my company, tried to plan date nights with me, and so on. I tried to plan a movie date night with him and he looked annoyed and totally pissed. It just makes me sad. I am now eating a bowl of ramen to "comfort" myself.

He knows I'm very introverted (he is as well) and don't like to meet up with people immediately. The first time he said we could watch a movie (didn't have to be irl) and the 2nd time he suggested we could go to a cat cafe. "If you ever want to meet up [...]"

Is he just waiting for me to suggest the date or is it to let me know he wants to meet up and doesn't care when?
