We haven't spoke much after first date?

Hi me and this guy has been talking online for over two months we finally met the other day at his house. Nothing happened, well I made sure nothing happened as I was a little cautious going to his house for the first time. We spoke for a long time i was with him for 6 hours we watched a movie he cooked for me (probably because he was hungry too lol) he gave wine dessert etc. We didn't get close as i sat separate to him but like i said this was only because i was at his house for the first time.

he walked me to my car told me to message him
i did and i told him thank you etc he messaged following day saying good morning and that he fell asleep.

i then responded but he didn't write back (he was active on instagram) so i wrote today asking if he tasted what I got for him as a dessert and he said no he didn't actually and that his been busy.

not sure how to take this as i really enjoyed the date and liked him.

If everything seem to have gone well, he’s having a cold feet pushing this forward. Probable Reasons:-After meeting you, he may have realized that he just isn’t looking for anything serious right now, mostly was after some casual sex. He might have felt it might take a while before he get in between those thighs and doesn’t have time to wait or be in a serious relationship.-He’s not ready to be in a relationship yet, maybe due to memories of a recent breakup or is going through something in his personal life that is distracting him and doesn’t have the emotional space for a serious relationship yet.

Maybe he’s been busy, sometimes being on your phone is an escape from other things and not being communicative is not the top of his agenda. So I wouldn’t be worried about it.
