Even though we live in a (n excessively) liberal society, a lot of men still like to be a strong protector for women in their lives. It's one reason why short girls get so much love from them.


On top of being almost a head taller than me, she's stronger and a much better fighter than me. Physically, she's got me beat in all aspects. Oh, and she LOVES horror movies and isn't afraid to fight creeps.
What's funny about this is she's Irish-American, so she really adheres to the "Tough Irish" stereotype!


What if your wife or girlfriend didn't need or want you to be "be the man" for her. What if she not only didn't need you to do those small, manly gestures (opening jars, killing bugs, lifting heavy stuff, comforting her during horror movies) for her, but didn't give you the chance to so?
