I think this should be the case regardless of gender and should work both ways. Too often do you see people just sitting on their asses and hoping someone will come along and solve all their problems for them, even more so if they are the ones who caused it.

Lets just think about this for a second, Say a girl and a guy go out together. The girl ends up getting into a heated argument with another guy or girl or w/e, things get out of hand, she gets in over her head and she expects the guy to bail her out? I'm sorry I don't believe that. This is your mess, YOU fix it.

My point is, too often do we see people get into situations that they don't want to get out of, and at that point all you would be doing is getting yourself in trouble.

Another example, we got someone who is a real delinquent, did some bad stuff, probably got some jail time, but they desperately want to change their ways and are doing what they can to do so, you are gonna wanna help that guy out right? As opposed to the guy who keeps saying he wants to change but keeps doing the same old stuff.

End of the day i feel this to be true. Help those who help themselves, cause trying to do otherwise is just pulling dead weight.
