In the top 15 schools of the UK as of 2014, 6 were girls-only schools and 5 were boys-only. Single-sex schools are known to raise the academic level of boys to almost equal to that of girls even in this feminist society.

NOTE - This is despite the fact that boys still spend a lot less time studying than girls and are also far more involved in games and sports than girls.

However, boys still outperform girls on SAT tests overall. Boys only fall behind in mixed-sex schools and universities... why?

I'm 29 years old. I'm currently unemployed- I founded my own company and ran it for five years, but it never became profitable, and I had to liquidate it. I don't have any friends any more- the few friendships I've ever managed to make over the course of my life never lasted, with each supposed 'friend' breaking off all contact with me without warning and for no apparent reason other than that they were bored with me. And I've never had a girlfriend; I've never had sex, never had sexual contact, never passionately kissed, and never gone on my first date.

That's largely thanks to the fact that I've been virgin-shamed since I was in my early teens, and it's only got worse and worse as I've got older. But it's also because, while I've always wanted a girlfriend, perhaps more than anything else in the world, I also always wanted to be able to support her, and to be able to take full responsibility for anything which might have resulted from a relationship. I wanted to build a career first, and be capable of supporting a family financially before I set about making one. I wanted to be worthy, aspiring to be that ideal, strong, responsible and successful husband for my ideal wife. But it's too late for that now- the business failed, so that ship has sailed.

I may still be a virgin, for non-religious reasons, and romanticise love and affection in a relationship, but I'm also a closet nymphomaniac. I've always had a libido that was off the charts, and while I've managed to hold myself back for all these years, I've become practically obsessed with sex. I really want to do it, and I know that I have everything that it takes to be great at it. I've been trying to get a girlfriend all this time, through online dating and at singles events, but no-one's ever really wanted to know me, and I've never been able to devote 100% of my time and effort to it. To put this in perspective, me and my girlfriend met on eHarmony--she is 18, and I am 25. We have been dating for eight months, and everything seemed to be going fine... however, on Friday she told me that she doesn't "feel the same anymore". Apparently she broke down to her mother and said she didn't know if she felt the same because she wasn't feeling the over-the-heels sense that she felt at the beginning. I am her first true boyfriend, so maybe it was the end of the honeymoon phase scaring her... who knows. All I know is, she initially thought about breaking up, then she went ahead and said she really liked the idea of a break for a month (told me we would talk on January 14th, 2016 at 6:30PM). Unfortunately, though... I miss the hell out of her, but I don't know if she really wants a break or if she is just trying to ease the blow on the breakup. She repeatedly tells me that she loves me and that constantly leaves messages with "xo"... she has called me hun and baby since the start of the break, and no matter what she constantly says "Well, if I decide to come back in like a week or two and you're still single will you please give me another chance? Please?", which kind of strikes me as odd because if you're not sure of me now why would you want that reassurance that I'd take you back? It just... is very odd.

What do you guys think? Is it a break? A breakup? I have heard a lot of stories where breaks end with people getting back together especially if there are terms (like she said we can't have sex with other people but talking with others is fine as long as it is friendly and as long as they are just a date like dinner/movie). She also suffers from depression and anxiety as well as self-esteem issues..

Is it doomed, or is there hope? I am leaning towards there being hope especially considering how she still tells me she loves me... but I am also very confused by that.
