I like this guy and my friends annoyed him and so he said nothing would ever happen between us and that we all need to stop (he got annoyed at me cause I'm the one who "likes and loves him") then 2 days after that happened, we saw each other and he said hi to me and offered my friend and I chips as well so I asked him why he did that if he's mad and he told he he doesn't hate me, he wants to be friends and he just wants all the drama to stop. Even after that, he still stares at me heaps and when he's with his friends, they'd stare at me a lot too... and his brother would stare at me a lot as well. A couple of days ago, I was walking with my friend and then my crush's brother saw me so he must've told my crush I was there cause then my crush looked at me and said hi and then I waved then he stood there staring at me for a couple of seconds? I messaged him two days ago cause we won't be seeing each other that often anymore and I said it'd be the last time I'd message him cause I knew it's probably getting annoying and he was like "Sure 😊" after I asked if I could talk to him and then 20 minutes after he was like "Go for it" cause I hadn't said anything and then I told him I'd miss seeing him and his brother around, I wish them the best in their next years and that I want to thank him and his brother for being so nice and stuff. He read that message... but he hasn't replied.. and remember it's been 2 days. What does this mean and what should I do? I really wanted to ask him something else... but now I can't. I thought he might have just said nothing would happen between us out of anger? I don't know anymore? Why would he stare at me so much if he's not into me?

I like Sam (15 years old). I have been casually speaking with him for over a month. He's a total goofball. His mom (who is a substitute teacher) has been saying "Hi Madison!" to me every day in the hall. Then Sam was sitting with Carly and her other friend and I had my earbuds in and then her friend turns around and is seemingly laughing at me and gestures to Sam and says "he wants to know what song you're listening to". Sam wasn't even looking at me! I just showed her the song and Sam glanced over at it too and then I turned around. Weird. But carry on. Now my birthday is on Saturday, so I invited these twin guys I've known my whole life over. Sam is friends with them too so I invited Sam over too. This would be our 1st time hanging out. He said "I don't know. Saturday. I don't think I have anything going on. I can probably come." Then I gave him my # and he told me today he tried texting it but it didn't register (he wasn't lying).
