I have been told that it's possible to make someone happy even without having sex with them. But can you make them TRULY happy if the only thing they actually want from you beyond your affection and attention, is sex?

I personally think if sex is what you want and it is also what you don't get whatsoever, then you won't feel happy, in fact, you'll feel miserable and eventually break up and just find someone else who actually gives you what you desire.

But others think this is "just guilt tripping" because "sex is not important", and "if they love you then clearly they can WAIT (for a year, or more, or until they buy a pair of rings and sign some papers) because that's how they show that they ACTUALLY care about me".

What do you think? Is it possible to make your partner happy if they want to have sex with you and you don't want to have sex with them ever, with a sexless marriage for example, while expecting them to "stay faithful" and "not cheat" with someone who's actually willing to show physical intimacy?

There is a lot of things going on in my head which i dont want to happen. i'm not able to decide what is good for me and my girlfriend. we both are certainly going through a huge problem in our relationship. my girl friend thinks we should end our relationship just because her mom took a promise from her that she won't marry anyone until and unless she agrees for it which makes my girl friend really upset and i'm not able to control myself by seeing her like this. we both love each other that we can do anything to be together but we don't want to go against her family. she said these words which certainly made me worried. those words were "we should break up now because it will hurt less than breaking up after 2 or 3 years when her mom won't agree". i said i'll talk to your mom she just said it's your decision to choose from that you want to continue like this even when we are not sure about our future or we can just end it right here. i was not able to see her cry when she was saying all these words it was definetely hurting me but i know it was definetly hurting her more to say all this.
what should i do please help me out i'm really in dilemma?
