See i prefer to be initiator but i just prefer it i dont see it as any ones job. so im understanding if another person feels uncomfortable not initiating. I am willing to with compromise. However I think many guys see it as a job ( entitlement ) and i think people would not compromise on a job.

So im asking bc im curious.

I also would have to move on if he can't compromise because not only would i be uncomfortable only being the receiver, but he's undermining my position as a partner. Thats demeaning to me. And just like he would not like it if i did that to him, he should be aware of how what he sees as his 'role' by birth right, may affect other people. But i think a lot of guys just assume 'well its what guys do' so there's no reason to think of the actual personality of the person they are dealing with.

I also get some guys feel its expected of them, so im taking this into consideration and not just writing him off as sexist. However, once we discuss it, and if i try to understand his position but he negates mine, if he still can't see it any other way than how he sees it and not compromise.., then id have to move on.

Also if you did compromise would you feel resentful? Bc i wouldn't want that. Id rather break up.
