I have temporarily gained God-like powers. I decide to snap my fingers and warp reality.

*Snap*

There, done. Absolutely nothing has changed, save for one thing. The Golden Rule is now law. Actually, scratch that, it's more than just man made law, it's literally now a law of nature. From now on, no matter what you do, whether it's pleasantly saying hi to someone, or yelling at someone in anger, or cutting them off on the highway, you will physically be COMPLETELY unable to do anything to that person, unless you can actually physically, or mentally, take your own medicine first.

Let's sweeten the question a little bit more.

Let's say you've never experienced what you're about to inflict on someone, so you have no frame of reference. As an insurance policy, because of these God like powers, I've enabled it so that just before you're about to do something to someone, you will first violently (or pleasantly) experience what you're about to inflict on them.

Example: You're about to punch someone in the face, but you've never been punched before. Just as you're about to walk up to him and swing, your face suddenly starts to hurt. REALLY bad. You've literally experienced the punch you were about to swing on that dude in the next 8 seconds.

So, my question to you. Would this theoretical world be better or worse than the one we are in now? Would this logic be a good basis in which to ground this hypothetical new reality? What are the holes in the logic?
