Due to the current chaos in the world, talks about the coming mark of the beast have been circulating around the web. Some fear it may be a potentially mandatory COVID 19 vaccine, others think it will be a RFID. However many also think that it probably won’t be a physical mark but rather a symbolic mark. Atheists are welcome to comment their theories as well, just keep the comments civilized.

Many times people with different views to them claim others have complete ignorance to the situation. This is very belittling. They never assume that they may be mistaken or wrong. They say you are wrong.

This is the 3rd case of this involving me. The 1st time, I gave my views humbly that I don't believe atheists actually exist and the person said so you don't think I'm real? I said you as a person are real but the person being an atheist isn't. I gave 4 strong pieces of evidence showing they suppress it. They arrogantly said they are right and I'm wrong. I humbly admitted I can be wrong and they didn't.

The 2nd time, I was telling a person that our life can be meaningful even if an afterlife follows. They accused me of not appreciating life because I don't think death wins and is the end like him. He claimed life would be devalued if there was an afterlife. He rudely didn't even care to let me explain myself. To him, I don't appreciate life if I believe in an afterlife.

The 3rd time, I said morality is objective and he claimed even if God exists, it would be subjective. I told him that there could be a God but morality not be grounded in Him but in an unknown universal principle. He also called me ignorant, not even thinking he could be wrong.

Why do people claim others are ignorant just because they don't agree with their opinions or views a lot of times? They never seem to think they can be wrong.

As I once declared, my position is it is impossible to be an atheist but since they think they are one, lets just assume what they associate themselves as.

So do you think there are more atheists who believe in objective morality or more Christians who believe in subjective morality? If you think the difference is less than 1%, like 3.8% of atheists believing in objective morality and 3.3% of Christians believing in subjective morality or whatever the percent is, as long as you think it is less than a percent, vote C.

Many people who support subjective morality if told even if God exists, then the morality would be His opinion and thusly still subjective. Do you agree that even if God exists, the morality is subjective?

Personally I think morality is objective. If it is just opinion, it has no basis and opinion shouldn't dictate how people live. If we think something is wrong but others think it is righteous, then why enslave them to our opinions by judging what they did? It seems purposeless. There must exist an objective standard.

Please share your views why so many of those claiming to be atheists very seldom believe morality is objective and why it is rare for Christians to believe morality is subjective!

A detailed story of my experience. I live in a town where majority of the population is Muslim. When I went to school, there were no girls of my age from my religion in the school. I was always exposed to muslim girls, and I often had crushes on them. There is a girl my age working at the same place I do. She's not super pretty, she's OK, but we have several common interests and I feel like I'm falling for her. Her father works there also (it's like a family bussiness, I'm the only one there that's not family), so I can't go up to her and just start talking. They bring coffee, juice for everyone, but I've noticed that everytime she brings it, she will come to my spot and give me stuff, and just leaves the rest for the others to pick up on their own. She works on a sowing machine, and when I need something really fast, she always drops whatever she's doing, and does whatever I ask her. Once I shot my hand with a two inch thick staple, and she ran from her spot with iodine. Other times, when I work on a band saw, and the blade breaks I can see her peeking from the entrance to her workspot, worried. She always looks at my eyes, smiling when she is leaving. But bcz of the corona, only her father and cousin work at the place, but they were upstairs, and she came to bring her dad some chocolate a few days ago, and I noticed she walked past my work spot, but returned midway to offer me some chocolate. She carried pieces in her bare hand, but she looked at my eyes so deep, I couldn't refuse. This is when I realised I might actually have more than a crush on her. From her behaviour, I think she likes me also. The problem is that I'm an atheist, and Muslims do not sit well with us. I grew up Orthodox Christian so I still play this card around Muslims, because like that I am accepted, but I still can't be with a muslim girl. Not because of my safety, but hers. So I'll probably take no action, and let this one slide.

But what about you? Have you had a similar experience?

Just to set the record straight, I'm skeptical that anybody can truly be atheist but lets suppose I'm wrong and it is possible, do you think atheists or Christians are more forgiving?

In seems in certain areas and especially for things it is uncommon to forgive people easily for, that Christians forgive more often. An example would be spousal abuse. The Christian would more often than the atheist to forgive. In other areas, the Christian is less likely to forgive like accusations of personal attacks. I don't know if their ideology on morals takes into effect or if this is random depending on the person.
