So me and my most recent ex broke up about a month ago. We had a very complicated break up. He decided to break up with me one morning because he said that he was too busy for me and that I deserved better. I tried talking to him and convincing him that maybe things can work out over his busy schedule. He toke me back for 3 days and broke up with me again and ended up not knowing what he wanted. I gave him some time to think things over and his final decision ended up being to break up with me. We ended on good terms. We are now friends me and him seem to be getting along well as only friends. I asked him if he still liked me more then a friend 2 weeks ago and he nodded yes however he appeared to have gotten a sudden frown. I asked him if he still loved me and he remained silent. Now that's the backstory. What the point of all this is that I asked him to homecoming today and he looked surprised and he told me that he would think about it. I told him that I thought we would have a great time together and that we would only be going as friends like he wanted us to be. My question is: what do you think he's going to say?
