It's probably about time. Don't misunderstand me, I don't give two shits whether you like me or not, think I'm a bitch, a troll, a catfish, or a crazy person.

I came here (a LONG time ago) with a serious question that was important to me at the time. I didn't know how the site worked... if I had, I would have picked a cool user name. I've ended up sticking around for almost 4 years and the fun's gone.

At first, I wrote a few (what I thought were) thought provoking questions and MyTakes, only to quickly ascertain that the sheer volume of fucktards and trolls take the enjoyment out of taking this place seriously. So, I moved on to helping moderate the community and trying to bring new users along to have at least an entertaining place to kill time.

Here's one that (pathetically) shows that most people don't even have a firm grip on their own first language, confusing the word "vocabulary" with the word "dictionary".

Most of the users that I communicated with regularly - or even the ones that appreciated my sarcasm are gone. Even my joke/troll questions aren't bringing the joy that they once did - like this one:

I mostly blame the phone app for eroding the overall experience that we had here when it was just a website. The only reason I haven't already left, is that I've seen so many users cancel their accounts, only to regret it and come back sooner than later.

Just blocked a small handful of my overt detractors before posting
