It doesn't bother me all the time, but right now it's bothering me. I'm a nice person, I dress well, I'm pretty hot, I have good makeup skills and hair skills, I'm smart and funny and loving to a fault, I sing well, I love my family and friends, so why is my wheelchair the only thing that defines me? Why does society instantly put me in this box saying "look, she needs pity because she has trouble walking"? Why do people stare at me everywhere I go? I need to know about this from able-bodied people. so go crazy. Tell me why or why not I deserve to be treated as a person.

There's a guy I've been getting closer to over the past week or so (known him for a few months), and I can't tell if he may be interested in me or not. We started talking one-on-one kind of randomly in our group friends last week, and over the past several days, we've elevated from barely speaking to now joking around all the time, him putting his arm around me to say something like "Oh you know I just give you a hard time because I love you!" and texting for a couple hours one night. The most defining moment to me was when we were walking to his car together (we've also been giving each other rides a few nights), and we were somehow talking about pretty girls, and he said "Well, of course you're one of them." It's very unusual for him to give compliments, and he even said that it was uncommon for him to give them after he made that comment. He also suggested one night that if I ever wanted to hang out with him sometime to feel free to tell him and we could do something. Yesterday when he was giving me a ride home (he did offer a couple others rides homes too though, just none of them said yes, so I'm not taking the rides as any kind of sure sign), we passed by some of our mutual friends and his closer friends, and they yelled back at us a joke about "being safe" (doesn't necessarily mean much though).

What do you guys think? Are we just becoming really good friends? Is he interested in something more?

I am dating this guy for 4 months. We already have a reaaally strong bond but I still can't define our relationship. The situation is like this: my parents know about him but his don't; I'm sure that he's serious about me; we don't text much (actually not at all) except when he wants to see me; we still didn't sleep with each other; he makes plans about future things with me like which places we have to visit together; he does everything I want to. Now everytime when we're close to each other like cuddling or so I feel like telling him that I love him. I don't know if he is ready for something like that or not because he just never said anything like that. He never even said that he likes me. Should I wait for him to say something or should I listen to my heart and confess my feelings?
