So, I confronted him, I told him I'll tell all this to his wife and tell her to flirt with other men!

He said he wasn't flirting with me. 'Anyone can say 'Love you' to whomever they have strong emotional bond with. It is just my pure affection for you, dear. I don't say it as if you are my girlfriend, don't take it so narrowly, take it broadly, I love very few people.'


He also told me to tell his wife he said all this to me.

So this guy and I matched on tinder about 2 years back. Initially we used to text each other for hours before meeting. And he made it seem like he liked me although none of us actually confessed, and at that time i had just gotten out of a relationship so I liked talking to him and found him quiet cool and developed a crush on him. Then once he told me he doesn't wanna hurt me. So I was wondering why he said that. Then I saw that he's talking to another girl (who he later told me was his high school bff). I stalked her and didn't find her that attractive so i thought she's probably just a friend. Then the next year we weren't in touch for a very long time and I got over him because another guy came into my life. I made a fake id to stalk him on insta and saw that he's made a birthday post with a cute caption with that other girl. I wasn't jealous because I already had someone then. A few months later he texted me and wanted to finally meet me, so we met and drank at a bar and he wanted to hook up with me but i ignored his advances cause i was kind of seeing someone already. Then we met again and went for a movie and i just kept talking about this other guy who I like and asked him if he likes anyone and he said "i'm on a break with a girl" and he probably didn't like that I kept mentioning that other guy. Anyway after that day we never even spoke once and I saw that he posted another birthday post with that girl on her birthday. I honestly don't care now at all but I have a strong feeling that they were dating when we started talking, and he was probably trying to double date me with her.
