Biden says he’ll ‘talk about what’s next’ in COVID response in primetime speech tonight

President Joe Biden is scheduled to deliver a speech around 8 p. m. Eastern Time on Thursday, as he marks the one-year anniversary of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Tomorrow night, I’m going on primetime to address the American people and talk about what we went through as a nation this past year,” Biden said on Wednesday at an event with the CEOs of drugmakers Johnson & Johnson JNJ, -0.01% and Merck MRK, -0.17%.

“But more importantly, I’m going to talk about what comes next. I’m going to launch the next phase of the COVID response and explain what we will do as a government and what we will ask of the American people.”

The World Health Organization declared a global pandemic on March 11, 2020. The U. S. tally for confirmed cases of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 has reached 29.2 million, or about a quarter of the global tally, and the nation’s death toll is above 529,000.

I work in entertainment (large live venues, film/TV sets) and I have had a few people either try to get things like free tickets from me (not allowed ever) or see if they can tail me to set/pass on their info to someone higher up the chain (definitely not allowed and highly disrespectful). A lot of people seem to think this is a giant party all the time and when they ask, they either act like I'm lying, that I'm stuck up or just disappear.

I've caught a couple people mid statement letting their intentions slip and it bugs me, a lot. Im not against passing on things you can find yourself (show dates, cheap ticket spots, audition dets or names of CDs) but blatantly asking me for something like a role in a show (cannot do, wouldn't do if I could). The more work I get, the more common this has become and when I go on dates, I avoid the "what do you do" talk for as long as possible and when it inevitably comes around, I stay broad and vague.

Anyone else or am I just crazy?

Once upon a time a woman named Kathryn was in the early stages of dating and sleeping with Antwan. She had an ex boyfriend named Jim that she openly stated was a "really good friend of hers". Kathryn stated that she texts him before going to his local wellness store to see if he is there and have items ready for pick up.

It is the Christmas holiday. Antwan is dating Kathryn but doesn't know Jim. They both have a mutual friend. A picture was put on facebook of their mutual friend in the first week of December. It was posted by Jim. Kathryn liked this picture. The caption of the picture said:

"Will miss my buddy. Looking forward to my trip to Mexico next week."

It is the holidays. Everyone seems to be traveling to places for Christmas. Kathryn has an older brother who lives in Mexico City. Antwan has been dating her for 3 weeks. She seems flustered and disoriented packing. They have sex. The next day she seems nervous. She kisses Antwan goodbye and leaves for Mexico.

While in Mexico she texts Antwan throughout the day. All day every day. Constant pictures. She is very into Antwan. But at one point she says she misses him but also loves Mexico so much she wants to return in the Summer for 3 months.

A few months go by. Kathryn texting her ex boyfriend Jim comes up. Antwan has been dating her for 2 months now. In bed he asks her why she needs to text this ex boyfriend to see if he is working at the store he owns. Kathryn says he is just a friend.

She says, "It's no big deal. He helped drop off my brother's Christmas gift."
Antwan says, "In Mexico?"
Kathryn corrects Antwan, "No. He prepared the gift items in his store before I left for me."

Wasn't Jim in Mexico at that point? Antwan then asks why they broke up. Kathryn wraps her arms around her stomach in bed and becomes annoyed saying, "I just don't like him like that. We didn't have good sexual chemistry."

Did Kathryn meet up with her ex in Mexico?
