Okay so I need help with this one!

So I'm one of those really chilled out, happy, fun girls. I've always had lots of friends that are guys but almost never had any guys show any interest in me at all, and i've never had a boyfriend or anything even close to a relationship. My friends tell me I'm pretty with blue/green eyes and long blonde wavy hair, I'm slim with big boobs and big bum. My friends also keep telling me that I'm a super cool and lovely girl with a great, lovable personality and very soon i'll find someone that really likes me for me. One of my friends (who is in a relationship and has no feelings towards me before anyone says, he's like a brother to me) told me the other day that I deserve the best of the best of guys because i'm too good for anyone else. This sounds like I'm bragging, but I promise i'm not at all, i'm just trying to paint a picture.

Anyway one night a few months ago, all my friends and I went out for a night out along with the rest of the village (it was a big party). I was just chatting to my friends and being my usual playful, slightly crazy self, when I saw this guy staring at me from across the room. He was with his best mate and they were both saying things to each other and smiling, then he looked at me and gave me a big smile (this went on for a while, at least 10 mins straight). My best friend noticed them looking first and showed me and i gave him a big smile back. (Just some background information. I've known this guy, but not very well, for a while. I often saw him at the pub and occasionally had a chat but nothing more really. He had had a girlfriend of 2/3 years so i hadn't ever given him a second look, but at this point he had just split up with his girlfriend.)

We had a good first date but afterwards he invited me over to his place to watch a movie. I considered it, but ultimately called it a night. He was respectful of my decision and had no hard feelings. He texted me right when he got home telling me thanks and that he had a great time. The day after he texted me asking how work was and after a bit of texting he asked me for a second date for the next day. He said he would plan out a time and place for us. If he invites me to go out somewhere again he might be looking for a relationship, right? But if he just asks me to his apartment, I'm going to assume he just wants sex.
