I wrote a story in 2010. It is a major future plotline for my fictional series, "Rock Bottom." In it, the protagonist is said to be an important future figure. One major thing that makes him special is that he is immortal. The series antagonist is his evil billionaire heiress wife from a future timeline.

In her timeline, the protagonist combines his intelligence and immortality with her immense wealth and rallies a group of pissed-off Americans to fight back against then-current oppression and tyranny from the US government. Through his blood transferred into their bodies, these freedom fighters also become temporarily immortal. His group of revolutionaries is called the American Patriots.

He marches into Washington with 500 super-powered revolutionaries and persuades the powerless military to stand down against them or die. The military general stands down and he then rallies his people to overthrow Congress and the White House in a massacre that kills absolutely everyone. He then becomes the totalitarian "Commander in Chief" of the United States, as if elected president.

In the future timeline, about 45% of Americans disapprove of the revolution, but 51% approve of the new change because it's a vast improvement over the old system of corrupt and greedy bureaucrats, even if it's not technically democracy. The story took place in 2020, ten years from the protagonists' then-current time.

Again, I wrote this in 2010. Long before Donald Trump, long before the mainstream media made brainwashed everyone into Democrat obedience, and long before January 6th, 2021.

QUESTION: If a group of American revolutionaries stormed Congress and the White House, and killed all of them who were deemed guilty of betraying the country in order to build a better government for everyone, would you HONESTLY disapprove of this? Or would you potentially approve of it?
