I'm not gonna lie, I use to love the idea of getting married. I was that guide it would always want to have my partner be attached to me and love me to death. I've always wanted to have at least one son. Partying and sleeping with a million girls was never my idea of a good time... Too many different personalities and now days you have to be careful because you don't know where the last person has been. But as I've gotten older I've become a bit bitter towards the idea partnership and marriage. There are so many girls I can get usually but the problem is I don't want them for some reason, it's not that they're ugly or anything it's just that I feel as if I've seen too many bad relationships and things go wrong. when I picture it all in my mind, I love the idea of marriage and a family and all that great stuff like two things you kind of see on TV but I know in reality it's never like that. I feel like there is going to be a million lies told back and forth & a million betrayals and cheating moments and heart ache. I apologize cuz I'm not trying to sound like a buzz kill but I'd avoid it all...

After reading everything I just said how many of you still strongly believe in getting married and partnership and stuff..

Disclaimer: I'm not one of these moronic shitheads who are hung up on the definition of words who talk shit with no regards to how their words impact others, I just want your feedback.

A: I think the rhetoric is appropriate
B: I think we should use war rhetoric but we speak of cancer as if it's an invader when we should view the fight against cancer more like an insurgency
C: I see having cancer as a fight but I don't think war rhetoric is appropriate
D: I don't see having cancer as a fight.

I personally go with option B because I feel that we all to often portray cancer as something external that attacks us when we use war rhetoric. But infectious diseases seem more like an invading enemy and a conventional war. And like in a conventional war the combatants (bacteria and viruses) are well equipped and adapted killing machines but at the same time are easy for the bodys defenses to identify and attack. So like with battles in a conventional war they go by pretty quickly. With most lethal infectious diseases you either survive or die within a few weeks. But cancer isn't an enemy that comes in and choses to mess with you

Cancer cells aren't equipped with the same molecular mechanisms that pathogens are so individual cells don't have as much impact. But they're much harder to distinguish from the body's own cells. It's also a much longer struggle and because of the difficulty in identifying healthy cells from cancer cells, far more "collateral damage is inflicted in the process of eliminating the cancer cells. All of this makes it seem like an insurgency which tend to be "dirty wars". In another similarity, whenever the cells aggregate in a tumor you kill it with chemo or radiation but with each victory you feel yourself getting weaker, which brings to mind a certain rhyme: The point of Guerilla war is not to suceed; it's always been just to make the enemy BLEED

Think back, waaayyy back! Think of someone who was important... Someone that meant a lot to you. Could've been a girlfriend, a boyfriend, a best friend, or even a family member. Something must be happened that caused you both to stop talking... It's been sooo long ago... Do you miss that person? Drop your pride for a minute and be honest with yourself and with me. (It's not gonna kill you or embarrass you.) do you miss that person? Or better yet, would you ever go back or give them an apology? I hear in break ups people don't usually comeback once they say good bye forever... I certainly wish I could have 1 or 2 girls back from my past... But I wish I could have the old version of them, the people they grew up to be is just... Pitiful, they grew to be sluts and liars... (I hate to throw slander but the truth hurts) there's even friends I betrayed and did hurtful things to and I'll go to my grave regretting it but if I had a time machine I'd go back and stop myself or say things differently... Anyway what about you? Is there someone very far from you past that you wish you could see or talk to? Boyfriend? Girlfriend? Family member? Bestfriend?
