Search Results: why they would be so rude to me

To give you a little backstory: I went through a lot of hardships and mental illnesses during my time in this particular school. After some trouble, studying 11 hours a day and crying myself to sleep I managed to pass the exams. My school is known for being very hard and strict on their students.

When I went to see my grandparents I told them. Both were so proud of me but then my grandma took the chance to tell me that this is why I should pray. According to her I would not have been good enough if she didn't pray for me every night.

I'm kind of upset with it because it was so much work to achieve what I achieved but now I'm not happy about it anymore.

I know we go on debates to prove a point, but I'm starting to find it tiring. I can hardly have respectful debates out here, people are not genuinely curious their main focus is just to prove you wrong and call it a day.

People want to be my friend till they find out I'm a Christian. Any time I tell them I can't do certain things because of my beliefs that's when they think it's okay to go back and forth on the subject. This is why I don't have friends and I enjoy being alone because I'm tired of people not accepting me for me.

If I stick to just preaching God's love instead of preaching about the dangers of sin people will ask me questions about certain sins just to get a reaction out of me and argue, I think you all pretty know what I'm talking about. I just don't see the point of going back and forth with people. A minority of people want genuine answers while the majority are just rude and time wasters.
