i recently took an online iq test (a somewhat good one)
and got 125.
i remember my mom saying she got 120, when she took one, not online.
first off, i want to clarify that i dont believe that iq is the ultimate measurement of intelligence, and sure as hell not for smartness.
but i do think it has something to do with being able to do logical problems fast.
recognizing problems and solutions, understanding patterns, etc.
i do remember hearing that you get your moms intelligence.
i kind of think that it may be true, in my case. my dads pretty smart, but more in regards of resourcefullness and street smarts, and other stuff. purely problem solving, i think my mum is a bit better.

Just wondering, I unfortunately just got fired for the 2nd time in a row last night since I've been stuck in training for nearly a month and had trouble getting past certain audio tests (I had difficulty trying to understand and repeat after/dictate them because they're so unclear and warbled up). Then, I get called by my center manager letting me know the bad news (even he seemed sad of it) that he sent my last test score results (which have gotten dramatically worse) to HR and they decided to force my manager to terminate my employment because of those last test score results (after 12 failed attempts). I guess HR felt that this job might have been a little too much for me to handle since I tend to have speech problems (stuttering and losing breath once in a while) and possibly some degree of hearing problems.

My job before that one, I was fired supposedly for performance reasons (not meeting up to certain standards) but it's really because the management over at that place was pretty horrible and was an overall very hostile work environment. They always put unrealistic standards on their employees, especially new hires and they played favorites with certain people.

I'm a community college student (who's been in CC for 3 years and still trying to knock off all my pre-requisite and still probably need almost one more year to do so) who still living with parents because I literally can't afford to live (food, shelter, water, education, etc.). I've been in credit card debt for a couple of months and was only able to pay off a fraction of the debt from the last month. Now, I have to be back on unemployment insurance AGAIN just to heavily rely on it as my source of income.

So am I pretty much done for with my life and have no purpose to live anymore?

My girlfriend all of the sudden started to ignore me. We never had a fight or anything bad happen to cause this. In my mind, everything was perfect and she would say the same thing. She was staying at my house one night, got up all of sudden and said she had to go. I walked her to her car and she gave me a kiss, said I love you, and then left. I heard from her the next day, but she was short with me. We spend almost every night with each other and we talk and text all day. Then I stopped hearing from her all together about 3 weeks ago, except little texts here and there. She sent me a cute pic of herself 2 weeks ago, I responded, but she didn't respond with anything back. She sent another text to me this past weekend, I think to test me to see if I still cared. Of course I responded in a way that I do still care. Like I said, we did not fight, no one cheated, nothing. It is like she got scared. I want her back, but don't know what to say. I thought she just needed time to herself, so I backed off. Was that the right thing to do? Even at my age, dating is hard.

I heard this back in sixth grade and I think it makes perfect sense.

I mean obviously its fair to say that all video game remotes are set up the same way, the cross pad/joystick on the left and the main buttons on the right.



this is because the majority of us humans are right handed and its easier for us to press multiple buttons with our dominant hand. but having this stuck in my head I decided to test it out with my PS2 remote a while back. I tried to play with the remote outside down so instead my dominant hand would be the one in the control pad/joystick and my left on the buttons and it did felt a little weird.

either I just wanted to resolve this and by hearing other people's view. till I think the only remote control that supported both right and left handed people was Nintendo's virtual boy controller, so I'm guessing I'm not the only one in the world to have this in mind.
