I'm currently talking to a guy. He's great but he's already asking me about how much money I make a year, what do I think about having a house husband, and one night he randomly hit me up and asked for 60 dollars for gas money. Are these red flags or I'm I just over reacting? I don't want to be considered shallow or anything.

So, women, if you went on a date with a guy and you both went 50-50, would it be a red flag if he asked about your job and how much money you make a year?

i normally prefer to go 50/50 on the first date or I'll be the one pursing/ offering to pay to take the guy out.

And I don't expect a guy to protect, provide, or really give me anything. While I do believe in gender equality, it feels strange to have a man buy me gifts, or take me out. I've always been used to setting. I had a close male friend say that he basically wanted to be my boyfriend because he saw potential in my writing and one day I could be the main breadwinner.

Which I don't mind being the breadwinner.

Litterally everyone tells me my standards are too low but I think they're realistic and hopefully makes me more attractive to people.
