So my "Best friend" recently broke my heart. Then there were a couple of girls before her that always hit me with the "You're so sweet" line. Am I just a turn off to girls or what?

I'm supportive of her goals and try my best to help her.
I love trying to get into what they're interests are. But if it's something I just can't get into, I tell them that and try to share what I like.
I love debating and arguing, I hardly back down when I think I'm right. But I never get hurt feelings over what we talk about.
I loved telling her how great she is everyday. Just a little "You're so funny, smart, fun, beautiful" and so on at least once a day. I asked how her family is doing. I always talk her through her feelings to try and understand where she's coming from. I'm just so tired of being the friend I guess. And don't get me wrong, I tell them I want to date and hang out right from the start. They say yeah, sure. But it always ends the same. "You're so sweet. I just don't see you that way."

It's nothing fancy. I'm just doing it on Google Docs and maybe Wattpad. But I'm a beginner and wanted some feedback from a casual audience who are not professional writers.

It's just basically gonna be a sitcom comedy kind of show, where the characters are just kind of living out their seemingly mundane average lives, but somehow end up getting themselves into all sorts of crazy shenanigans and adventures.

Richard: The main character of the show. He's a dork with many nerdy hobbies, such as drawing, writing, video games, or anime. He's never been too successful with women, though he tries his best. He likes to joke around and make bad puns.

Julio: Richard's best friend, as well as second main character. He's kind of an idiot, and means well but gives Richard a lot of bad advice, which Richard then takes, not being much smarter. He's pretty self centered and though he is physically strong, he overestimates his own strength by a lot. He's usually carefree, but is very protective of his younger brother Adrian.

Adrian: Julio's younger brother. He's short and pretty overweight, and just loves candy and junk food. He and Julio constantly argue all the time when together, though Julio secretly cares for him very much. He's definitely very gullible and pretty innocent, and falls for almost anything, but even he knows how bad Julio's advice is.

Jarius: A friend of Richard and Julio. He's extremely smart, but in no way a stereotypical nerd like Richard is. He often gets annoyed at how stupid Richard and Julio are, and almost always has a bored face when around them. He tries pointing out when things are a bad idea, but Richard and Julio just never listen. They often bring him along for his brains and knowledge, but completely ignore his good advice.

Jojo: Richard's worst enemy since childhood. In kindergarten he tore up Richard's drawing, and they've been at it ever since. Unlike Richard he's very popular with the girls and physically strong. But a total asshole.
