Would you date outside your race, or do you only want to date within your race? If your answer is the latter, what are your reasons for only wanting to date your race? And if you had children, how you feel if they wanted to date someone who was a different race than them?

I'm asking this because the parents of the user who posted the question in the link up there have forbidden her from dating a guy just because he wasn't white, and as a mixed guy that shit pisses me off to no end. Love has no color, or gender.

If you want to give me your answer, state your ethnicity and your preference (which ever ethnicity it is that you prefer or if you don't have preference at all) as your answer.

For example, I'm Hispanic/Latin American and it doesn't matter to me much about the woman's race. However, I lean slightly towards my own ethnic group of women since I have more in common with them. plus I don't think most women outside of my ethnic group would be interested in me anyway.

I am not asking if you be opposed to a person of different race asking you out, nor am I asking if you would go on one date, and I'm not asking if you would have sex outside your race. I am asking if you can see youself seriously dating into a long term relationship outside of your race.

As a side note, it is perfectly normal and not racist to have a preference.
