I slept with this guy awhile back, during a period in my life where I was really unhappy and confused. We are friends and now roommates, but nothing more. The problem lies in the fact that I have begun to fall for his best friend, who is fast becoming my best friend. We spend lots of time together and flirt and play. Can I sleep with him knowing that I slept with his best friend and leaving him ignorant of the situation or (for guys) will it really cause a problem (unwritten man code/pride)?
It could come off kind of slutty but its not. You have feelings for this person and not for your roommate, and plus it was a long time ago and you're not sleeping with him now or anything. I say do it! Just hope it doesn't hurt your friendship because in the end it could be something you regret. Be prepared for what may/ or may not happen. And perhaps you may want to talk to your roommate about it and see if he is comfortable with it, to make sure he doesn't have secret feelings for you or anything.
Thanks. I don't think he should have a prob. (my roommate, I mean he has a girlfriend) but I wasn't sure if it will cause the two of them problems due to some sort of male possessive mind set. Plus his best friend doesn't know we slept together and that's a whole other hurdle. Do I really need to say anything? - 6 months ago
