2.8K opinions shared on Other topic. Sure. I turned 16 in 1970. It was a time when recreational drugs were popular. "Sex, drugs and rock & roll."
I knew people who got into coke. All it did was cost them a lot of money. I never knew anyone who died from it.
I snorted it quite a few times as late as the '80s when offered, but I never bought much. It wasn't worth it. I never smoked crack.
I tried other drugs, too - LDS, peyote, mescaline, peyote, psilocybin, PCP. I smoked a lot of weed, hash and hash oil. I did tried opiated hash and Thai sticks. But I never touched heroin and would never have considered using a needle.
Crystal meth wasn't a thing back then. Although there were methamphetamine tablets. I never liked speed much, though, or downers.
I knew a guy who got addicted to heroin and ODd.
I never turned into a druggie or boozer. I was just a partier from my late teens through my 20s. I don't regret it. The psychedelics were interesting.12 Reply- 14 d

15 dI'm not ashamed to admit that I have tried cocaine and other similar drugs.
Like many, there was a time in my life when I was curious about getting a buzz & trip from what were popular back then.
I'm proud to admit that I never got hooked on drugs.
And, I'm glad the people I know who tried 'em too didn't get addicted to drugs.

Yes a lot of people I know , are into drugs and alcohol that don’t have a care in the world about it you can tell them it’s bad for them all you want and suggest the y get help , but they don’t really give a shit , and they are going to do it no matter what, unless they want help or want to stop , I have lost some friends’ that were addicted to hard core drugs , like crack cocaine and heroin , , that ended up dropping dead at a young age , I tried getting them help , but sadly most of them just go right back to it.

m 15 dCocaine looked like a taboo drug when I was a teen, anything aside THC or alcohol seemed to be socially unacceptable.
A few years later, I realized it was not an uncommon drug for upperclass kids.
A decade later, I realized it wasn't uncommon for bar & restaurant staff.
So at this point I believe recreational use of cocaine became socially acceptable for even more social groups?

15 dI’ve known people that have done marijuana, cocaine, heroin & other opioid pain killers, inhalants like nitrous oxide, ketamine, LSD, MDMA, mescaline, psilocybin, PCP, steroids, benzodiazepines (xanax, valium, etc.), DXM, etc. Can't say I'm shocked by drug use. I've seen a lot of it over the years and from a very young age. I'm pretty desensitized to it.

15 dLots. I’ve done cocaine and methamphetamine socially. I don’t really think of either as “hard” drugs. I’ve had marijuana that had a much stronger effect on me than coke or meth. A strong energy drink has a similar effect on me. Maybe i’m the anomaly. I might have an undiagnosed condition that mitigates the effects of uppers on me.

15 dYes! Quite a few people!! Pretty much everyone that's ever been in my band (except me), a few of my cousins, friends, Bill Clinton's got a nose like a vacuum cleaner and Barry Soetoro's not far behind. Hunter Biden a few people I know of in other bands I've associated with, etc..

It was all very common among people I knew. It did take a toll on some of them. The last I did was at my bachelor’’s party.

Anonymous(45 Plus)14 dI had a friend when I was around 20 who was about 5 years older. He got addicted to cocaine and for a couple of years it ruined his life. He got divorced and was a "lost" sort of person. He got into a rehab situation through a local church and ended up doing well. I was reluctant to even try cocaine after seeing what happened to him.
10 ReplyYes I’ve known a lot of people that struggle with addiction. I was a sniffer myself two years ago😹. not proud of it but not ashamed either. It’s life shit happens

good guy from a good family… able to hold a job… but parents divorced… so I guess he followed the wrong friend… or just no one helped him … I wish him well.10 Reply 1.4K opinions shared on Other topic. Lot of coke cause necrotic changes of Maxillary nerve in nose cavity nerve channel which lead to upper teeth. When you make teeth implantology specialization you will see such cases

m 14 dI know of few, who have done it, yes...
and many more who have tried it "just because"
cocaine and many other things as well10 Reply Yes, I've known many people that have done cocaine and it's best in my opinion to just steer clear of any hard drugs. The thing is you could be one of the few that can take it or leave it or you could unfortunately be one of the many that gets hooked instantly. Stick with natural if you want to get high like shrooms or weed. Those are your safest bets.

13 dSpent most of my life in very much work hard play hard type industries, and so all of my friends are from that crowd too. It would be harder to find someone that hasn’t, hell we were doing lines at the company Christmas party at my last job 😂
