Cats are definitely better. They’re better cuddle animals than dogs. Dogs are usually menacing and they’re damn thieves. And I’ll tell you why.



My reasons for hating dogs:


1. They’re needy. Doesn’t matter how much you pet them, it’s not enough (like GO LAY DOWN!)


2. They stink.


3. They’re loud, whether they bark at people passing by the yard or they’re whining because you took 5 minutes for yourself and the dog is pissed about it.


4. They’re overly dramatic. You get cross with them and they act like you’ve been beating them their entire lives (like seriously?)


5. They destroy everything and anything. Even if the dog doesn’t rip apart the furniture they still ruin it by laying on it and all that fur is all over and the stink is forever in that piece of furniture they decide to claim because of their entitled nature that every dog has.


6. The constant up and down! It’s like the dog has the bladder of a mouse!


7. The hair, it never ends and you can forget dressing nice for a gathering because your dress or slacks are covered in hair and if by chance you have 12 lint rollers to de-hair yourself, the moment you step out of the bedroom guess who’s there WANTING MORE ATTENTION and covers you in fur again.


8. They follow you when you’re done eating because they think you saved some food for them.


Oh and to the cat haters on here and out there in the world I say this…My cats know when to back off when I want space, my cats comfort me when I’m upset/stressed because they’re concerned about their owner not using it as an excuse to leech some attention out of you, you get mad at them and they stop doing whatever it is that pissed you off and go about their day rather than cowering when you walk in the room AND THEY CLEAN THEMSELVES!!! IMAGINE THAT!

And dogs are a lot of work. With both animals, you have to make sure you feed them and that they have plenty of water. You have to go outside every day, even in bad weather to walk the dog and that’s just a waste of time. With cats, you can train them to use a litter box and it only takes less than 5 minutes to clean it. Cats are a lot less work than dogs.

My high school answer would have been dogs because I didn't know anything about cats other than the fact that they can be cranky and can't be trained. But after being with my ex who owned a cat around when I was 24 years old up until 27, I gained a deep appreciation of them.

The choice is still really hard, but if I absolutely had to choose, I'd say dogs as you can technically do more with them than cats. They are definitely more work though.

Cats all the way. I love other people's dogs, but could never have one of my own. Unless it was a rare quiet, calm and non-smelly dog. Or perhaps a senior dog. And even then, I'd always prefer a cat. I just can't match a dog's energy. Cats on the other hand? Completely similar wavelength.

Cats are nice when they want to be. Low maintenance. But dogs require much more attention and give back so much more. If I was on a deserted island and had a dog I’d be good.

I prefer dogs, because the can be trains especific click for yours is.

Forexample, if you are Bipoplar Type One like me' they do anything they calm you to down. If you are in mania they try diferent techniques like you to relax and to breathe...

Dogs are super cool. They are loyal, loving, and can be useful.

But I prefer cats because they are low maintenance. They are cuddly, have soft fur, purr, don't bark or slobber, and aren't stinky. They can be really cute and funny, too.
My wife and I have three right now.

I love both and have had both. My senior dog and cat passed away in 2023. I now have a cat works better with my work life balance. Dogs you will need to walk 3x a day unless u get them trained on pee pads. Are you getting a pet?

No I mean dog meat literally tastes better than cat meat. Bear meat sucks. Horse isn't great. Bison's OK. Ground Moose makes shitty burgers. Alligator tail meat can be nasty if the fat isn't trimmed off completely. And so on.
