I am a cat person.

I really like cats overall... thats why I don't have one.

I am ao mich time at work. To keep a cat inside as in prison is not what they need. They are hunters. And single animals. They have a big area they want to own. If I can make my cat happy then I would never be such egoistic to imprison them to have something waiting when I return. Or to have 2 cats imprisoned in my flat. That's cruelty most people don't understand.

Of course, animal doctor, and pet homes say you can easily have 2 cats only inside the house - first one want to send you bills for 2 cats instead of one. And pet home want to get rid of the animals.

So they say, take 2. What is completely against nature of a cat.

Dogs are nice but I’ve honestly been a cat lover since I was very little. As a kid we always had dogs and I loved them… but once I found my first cat, that was it..

Someone had abandoned her… dropped her off and drove away. I was about 11 🤔. I fed her some turkey from my sandwich and she was so sweet and playful. I remember how fast I connected with her. I begged my dad to let me keep her and he said no… but I kept feeding her and looking out for her anyway.

I named her Pookie…
And years later everyone in my family (including my dad 😆) ended up spoiling her.

I still miss her. She was my very first cat.

I have a little mongrel dog and my sweetie has a fluffy cat and I swear he is one of the few animals that doesn't like me. He's so arrogant. And I think he's an alien. I call him hemorrhoid when my sweetie isn't around. So, anyway, I'm more of a dog girl. Also 'cuz in summer I like to do a lot of outside stuff and you can't really take a cat camping.

Both, but for different reasons.  Dogs for loyalty and energy.  Cats for calm and independence.  It depends on the vibe you want around you.
