What's a good clothing style for guys? Advice please! (guys/girls)

So I'm a guy in his late teens with some fashion issues. I'm 5'10'' and 140lbs. So I have trouble finding jeans that fit. I usually just stick to a tee shirt/polo and jeans in every season. I try to, consciencely, stay away from brand names. I want to try something different.
Any advice?

So Girls, the question is regarding the pants that you put on one leg at a time. jeans, sweats, stretchy, whatever they are.I realize that they are tight, but my question is why?

So it seems like everywhere I look guys are wearing skinnies! and I can't help but wonder what is it about them that's soooooo great?! Do they think its sexy? a turn on? or is there another reason. I m just wondering..its not that I hate the guys for wearing that but I just wanna know why?
