I, recently, watched a movie that heavily dealt with the concept of women giving birth to children. While I was watching it, I couldn't help but wonder about a woman's point of view. What do they, generally think, about giving birth to children?

There are certain things that only a woman will ever truly understand. Giving birth to a child, is one of them. Women are the only ones who can do it. Do they spend much time thinking about this? Do they feel as if they're making a great sacrifice, when they choose to have a child? After all, the process involves lots of pain and discomfort. Do they view it as unfair, or are they happy to do it?

A long time ago, I heard a woman say that she feels sorry for men, because we'll never know what it's like to give birth. So, I guess that answers how she views it. Is her view common, among women?

Here are a few questions that I have for women.

If you could give birth to children, without them being required to grow inside of you, would you do it, or would you feel as if you'd be missing out on something that's sacred? If your plan is to have children, is giving birth something that you dread, or do you not think about it, so much? For some of you, is it something that you look forward to, despite it being a physically unpleasant experience?

For me, there's something that's very intriguing about knowing that only a woman can answer questions like these.

Finally, I want to thank you, as you go through life, regularly dealing with issues that men never have to struggle with. You endure discomfort on a monthly basis. Yet, you complain so little about it, that I live my life, nearly completely unaware of it.

I guess this makes Mother's Day, one of the most warranted holidays. Thank you for all that you endure, on behalf of the human race.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma when it comes to my future. At the moment I am managing a gas station making roughly $75K a year. I've been there 15 years and when I first signed on the company (which is privately owned) was really good about how it treated it's employees with competitive pay w/paid overtime, monthly bonuses and really good health insurance that after five years we didn't have to pay for, but the overall vibe was a place you really wanted to work at. However in recent years things started to change, and I understand change and growth are necessary in order to thrive, but it started when they restructured the pay to not only be less competitive, but narrow the gap between part time and full time to where it's a joke (bonuses remained). Then they switched the insurance to an HMO that we couldn't really use anywhere, and had to go through hell to get the simplest of things such as prescriptions. Lastly they've recently demonstrates how little they care about the people who helped make the company, choosing not to listen to them with half hearted apologies as we continue to be overworked and undervalued. They occasionally throw a random bonus to try and appease us, but it's a drop in the bucket compared to the record profits they're making. I'm dissatisfied, the jobs been hell on my body (since we don't get breaks, and overtime I've developed eczema on my hands from all the hand washing which is a pain) and while I don't dread work, I'm also not happy there either

So I find myself wondering what to do next. Do I stay, and push for the next position which is store manager, which will not only mean more money, but more work and right now with us not having the staff to maintain would probably mean I'm working 2-3x as much since I'll be salary (currently I'm hourly) or do I dust off the resume and try and find opportunities elsewhere?

I had no real training and experience til had a girlfriend. Most women will hide this personal detail until you are close to them. You may have no idea how much other womens' moods swing until you are their partner.

For anyone new to the world of girls, you should understand, on a monthly basis, your girlfriend/wife is going through physical and emotional turmoil.

Physically: A part of her body which was a potential new life is dying and physically coming out. The She will physical symptoms like bleeding, stomach and back pain, headaches.

Emotionally: all are different including over time of their lives, but she won't be her normal self. Her hormones have shifted, she may feel weak and need additional emotional support. You can read about some types here.

In general, a life inside of her is on it's final chance to ever exist, and she is receiving the signals from that life, the dying cries of someone who will never be. She may feel sad, angry, argumentative, edgy. She may choose to bury these feelings using ice cream, cookies, or other foods. Her mood may escalate to high levels.


Somethings I've tried or learning to do. I've become more comfortable with this part of having a woman to love, and working through the trying time with her.
