Why are married women so terrified of being around divorced women?

I think it because divorced women will hit on their husbands if given the chance.

It could be that. It could also be because divorced women are usually negative. Divorces happen for a lot of reasons, but on the womans side if a guy divorces her it's typically for one of two reasons. Either he didn't vet her well enough and he married a stranger. Or she just liked the idea of being married, then she found out, "oh, you mean I actually have to hold up my end". Women are competitive and women in general don't like taking responsibilities for thier actions. They have an excuse for EVERYTHING! So when it doesn't work out they blame the man. And not just THAT MAN, EVERY MAN!

Marriages are tough enough without a jealous divorcee trying to break your marriage up. It's just easier for a happily married woman to avoid divorced women.
