I don't know what we are... we were coworkers, then friends, then lovers... now we no longer work together and I don't know a thing.
We broke up two months before I got out of work, cause I got jealous over him texting with another female coworker.
Anyway... we've said some harsh words at each other. He said he wants to be free.. whatever that means, bc I was too controlling.
Now I'm out of work. He wanted to get me back to work at first, but I didn't want to.
We agreed to meet at lunch time a week ago, but he didn't call so I guessed he didn't really want me there. So I didn't come.
Later he blamed me for not coming and I said "I was waiting for your phone call"... he started blameshifting me again.
Anyway... I told him "you are not calling because you don't want to"
And he replied "you are the younger one, you should be calling"
And I said "what a crap, this is so childish.. I know you are not calling because you don't want to, yes or no"
He said "no" and promised he will call and told me "you know where I am, you live two streets away from our workplace, why don't you just come".
Is he playing me?

Man, that sounds confusing as hell. This guy definitely seems like he's playing games with you.
A few things stand out to me - first, he blames you for everything and deflects any responsibility onto you. That's not cool.
Second, saying you should call him but then making excuses when you call his bluff, that's manipulative on his part.
Third, his whole "you know where I am" bit is just a way to keep you on the hook without committing to actually seeing you.
Seems to me like he wants you around when it's convenient for him, but doesn't actually want a relationship. He just wants the attention and never having to take accountability for his own actions.
I'd say don't chase after this dude anymore. He's had plenty of chances to step up and be real with you, but hasn't. You deserve way better than these mind games, girl! Plenty more fish and all that.
Time to cut him off for real and move on. You'll find someone who respects you, not playin' around like this clown. His loss! Now go live your best life without him bringing you down. 💪
