What is your biggest regret in life? What did you learn from it?

My biggest regret is not waiting a little longer for my ex. Instead, I dated and married his friend (my husband) within 6 months. Only to find out my ex came back wanting to reconcile after I got married. I was crushed and heartbroken.

Your biggest regret is all about you, not the way you're making others feel including your own children, but you won’t even tell your husband the truth about what’s going on.

You need to file for divorce if you’re gonna cheat at least be honest if even marriage counseling isn’t working maybe it’s too far gone at this point. I’m gonna tell you keep doing what you’re doing you’re gonna have bigger regrets.

What’s gonna happen if you loose everything in a divorce? What’s gonna happen if your own children forever resent you? What’s gonna happen if the man who cheats with you cheats on you? What happens if you’re shunned out of your community? That’s looking at it from a selfish perspective too.

Imagine your husband, your kids, and even your ex all the pain you’re putting them through and will you don’t seem to have any genuine remorse. All you seem to have cared about is yourself and you’re being too big of a coward to do what’s right.

If you still have any remorse or even if you’re just concerned about yourself. You’ll pray number one and repent of what you’ve done before it’s too late for you. That’s the truth it may not be the answer you want to hear but it’s the truth.

A few mistakes I made in my last relationship that contributed to her leaving me. Learned that its a mistake to assume that you can fully rely on your partner in a relationship and show true vulnerability in a time of desperate need. And its instead better to just tank what's happening if she mentioned she can't help at the moment despite going trough something really intense. I also learned that if there is a reason that maximizes her chance of her staying with you not to give that thing up for anything. I made choices that seemed the most healthy at the time, but ended up backfiring immensely. Ill never make that mistake again.

as for me, i regret always fighting with people (verbally). always being sad.
always saying no to literally everything, letting opportunities just go by, i guess we are kind of opposite in that way lol
not getting therapy sooner (still not ready, probably never will be).

I don’t have anything that I truly regret. I’ve made mistakes and been through many tough times, but they’ve all shaped me into who I am today. I don’t think I would do anything differently. Everything worked out in the end.

ironically similar story. Ex wanted to reconcile a few years later. At that point we became good friends and she had become a totally new person who was a perfect match for me. Only by that time I was married to someone else so I ended up terminating my friendship with my ex to preserve my marriage.

I really had some impressively awful friends through high school and college. I'm not too sure how much I could have done about that though... just from a realistic standpoint. As I look back on those years, if I had different friends, I really think my life would have looked very different.

I don't know if it would have changed where I've ended up, but it probably would have changed the timing of when I got here.

I can’t really talk about what my biggest regret is. That would involve divulging details that I can’t tell anyone.

There we’re no lessons to be learned from it. It was just extremely tragic and will weigh heavily on me till the day I die.

That's what I'm afraid of. People keep saying move on but I feel like he will come back around and I don't want to be engaged or married when he does come back around especially when I feel he is the one.
