No I would not. At the time the divorce is final, a couple usually splits their assets 50-50.

If the divorce was amicable... my divorce after 20+ years was... I might give a few thousand to her, just to be a nice guy, but that would be it.

If the shoe were on the other foot, I guarantee she wouldn't share anything with her ex-husband. In fact, she'd probably go out of her way to make sure he never hears about her winning the lottery.

I'd keep most of the cash to reinvest and double/triple within a few years so... no in that sense but I would buy whatever she wants given that it leaves me most of the cash to do that with.
So if she wants a nice house, nice car and 100k for the year that would be totally okay.
My role with a lot cash like that is try make myself super rich and make people I know rich too.

I wouldn't give her half of My winnings , but I would pay off some of the bills that her and I had together so that’s off both of our backs , so we can completely move on from each other , My ex wife put me in a financial hole with her compulsive spending habits and her gambling habits , she lost her fucking mind and now I am suffering from it as well, of course she takes no accountability for her stupidity but she is still the mother of my children , so if I came into a large sum of money I would just pay off the debt to get it off both of our backs so we can continue to move on from each other , whatever she does after that , she is on her own and no longer my burden

Highly unlikely. It would depend upon how the divorce went. If she was petty and vindictive, then not one red cent more. Especially if she took me to court for it, rather than just asking like a decent human being.
If it was an amicable divorce and we remained friends, i would probably share. Not necessarily half, but i would be happy to help get her out of debt and set her up with a generous nest egg.

Already shared. I don't hate my ex. I just didn't want to be married to her any longer. She and my sons are all taken care of for life with non-grantor irrevocable trusts. My conscience is clear.

But if I won the lottery? Yeah, I'd probably split it into non-grantor irrevocable trusts to avoid undue tax burden. I don't need the money and I'd be more concerned about passing it along to someone who'll be around long after I'm gone with reasonable tax treatment in the event the assets incurred periodic capital gains taxes during withdrawals.
