How to get rid of shadow above upper lip?

I think I have a shadow above my upper lip, it's making me feel really insecure and ugly, how can i get rid of it permanently? And how can I cover it up till then? And also be honest but does it look really really bad that you wouldn't wanna even look at me or be my friend or something like that? ): and I also feel like guys would never date me because of it. So please be honest is it that bad? And how can I get rid of it?
