I've been knowing this guy for a few months and I let him know that I liked him a couple weeks into us talking. He said he liked me too but only as friends. He said that I was his only friend and that he didn't want to jeopardize that by turning it into a relationship. I told him that I needed space to get over him but he didn't like that and said I I decided to just try and be his friend but I let him know I still liked him..
Even though he said he only wwants friend his actions say otherwise and I let him know this. He calls me everyday after work and we can talk got hours everyday! We hang out sometimes for hours! Just last night we went to the movies and while dropping me off we Hugged for quite some time and it was a very intimate hug as if we didn't wanna let go. It indeed felt mutual at least in my opinion.
Well when he got home he called me and I asked him about it and he said he wasn't looking for a hug and only gave me one because I wanted one and he didn't mind getting out of his comfort zone to hug me. He said that hugging a woman makes him want sex which this I know because he got excited when we Hugged. I didn't say anything and neither did he.
But he pretty much blew it off and said he's just a good hugger and that were only friends and he let me know that him and his mom talked about us and that he told her he doesn't plan on dating me that were just friends and he doesn't want to ruin anything.
I've already let him know over and over I like him and that his actions makes it seem that he wants more. He still denies wanting anything. Guys any ideas? I'm ready to give up on the idea of both friends or relationship
