I need to tell you something... meaning?

My boyfriend and I were just chatting and we got really romantic and cheesy with each other and were telling each other how much we liked each other. Just before we were going to say goodnight he said that he had something he wanted to tell me the next time we talk and he said its nothing bad but good.

So I asked him what he wanted to tell me when we talked next time but he said he'd tell me later and kept dodging the question.

Should I be worried?
