Do guys care about hair length?

Question

I'm a female and I have short hair, I want to know from a guy, is that a turn off or does it not matter to you?

Many seem to think 2 Timothy was somehow being "mean-spirited" by urging men to keep their hair short and women to keep it long. But that really isn't so. Long hair is associated with femininity. And women who insist on keeping their hair shorter than the average man's hair tend to have their femininity - or even their sexuality - questioned. Likewise, men with over-long hair don't usually know how to maintain it properly.

Some can pull off the reversal of length roles, but most can't. I find a long-haired woman quite a bit more attractive. But even if her hair isn't all that long, knowing she can maintain it and keep it healthy is also important. If her mane looks like a rat's nest, she's gonna need a very attractive personality to make me see past that.

Most of it does depend on how it looks on you. However for my preference, most short hair generally doesn't look good on women (there are exceptions). Medium to long hair looks best.

I would honestly need to see it on you to see if it looks good, but it is just one person's opinion.

I think it depends on every guys taste for different things. For me though I've been attracted to girls with long hair all the way to maybe just a little longer than the average guys hair. So I guess that would be considered short for a girl. I don't like buzzcuts or half shaved and half long though.

Personally, I get more turned on if a girl has longer hair, but that is just based on attraction. I once met a girl with short hair and based on her personality, I got attracted to her one day. The way she talked, carried herself, her sense of humour and how she was hardworking and intelligent, outweighed how she looked. I never ended up dating her but she certainly left an impression on me.

From what I've observed during my 20 years on Earth (~17 of which I was able to have memories), every girl looks better with hair below their shoulders and above the middle of their back. That's just what I've seen.

I personally don't really like boys haircuts on a girl. But I'm not going to not date her just because she has that haircut. It doesn't matter that much to me.

Actually some girls can pull it off, now that I think of it.

Short hair on a girl doesn't bother me. In fact, a lot of girls look really great with short hair as long as it's not too short. A short cut can really open up a girl's face.

To me short hair above the shoulders is a very big turn off to me. i love a girl with hair to her chest which more womanly to me. If she is tall then yes long hair to her chest will look very attractive on her..

I think it just depends on how you wear the short hair. I don't like extremely long hair. but average length hair I think looks best on most girls. but I know some that can pull over short hair well

I don't mind short hair at all. I've been with girls who had their hair extremely short.. like almost shaved but had longer bangs and I loved it! I like very short hair just as much as long hair. Just depends on the girl. Some girls can pull off short hair and some can't.

As long as it's around neck length, it's fine by me! I don't like it when girls sport the military look or when they start to look like guys. I actually prefer it at shoulder length. The shortest it could get to me and still be attractive in my opinion is the picture here (Found on google). So as long as it still looks femininne, I don't mind.

Actually, yeah. If the hair is too short like boys then girls look like a boy. The longer hair the more interested. But if girl's hair is under the shoulder then it is enough.
