Girls, What does it mean when a girl says via text. 'You make me smile'?

She normally sends that back when I compliment her or text her something sweet via text. We met just before she got a job overseas and we've stayed in touch since she's gone. She's back in 4 weeks and she's keen to get together.

I don't wanna read too much into it. But ladies? Would you say that to someone who's just a friend? Or you have no potential interest in? she's super sweet but keeps her cards close to her chest. But sometimes she shows hints she's interested.

I think she likes you because thinking about it, I would probably say that to a guy to give him a hint that he makes me feel some type of way!
