Guys, do you prefer a woman in heels or sneakers?

I'm curious on this question. Do you find a girl attractive in a nice outfit with high heel boots or skinny jeans with nice sneakers? What's your outfit of choice on a woman?

To me, it matters less what she's wearing and more about why she's wearing it and if it's appropriate for the event she's at. I am of the school of thought where the clothes people wear everyday are, well, everyday clothes: sneakers, jeans, t-shirt and maybe a light coat; and for a fancier event, you wear more formal clothing: heels, dress, and a shawl or coat if necessary. Wearing formal clothes to a casual function (i. e. heels to a picnic) makes me think she's priviledged or stuck up, and wearing casual clothes to a formal event (i. e. sneakers to a gala-type event [if I ever manage to make it into one of those]) makes me think she doesn't take things seriously. And obviously there are various degrees along the casual-formal scale, and I would hope she has good enough judgement to dress accordingly. Either way, it's all about what's appropriate.

Maryjanes or ballet flats. Heels can be attractive, but I'm not asking her to suffer pain for that. Sneakers and jeans are useful, but not attractive, so if she's trying to look good for me, that's not the way. Outfit's I like are sundresses, skirts, tights, and blouses in colors and patterns that express a fun personality.

Heels. As for outfit of choice...

Shoes: Heels
Bottoms: pencil skirt, leather trousers, tight to slim jeans
Tops: a nice shirt that's tucked in or a tee that's tucked in (with or without sleeves)
Top it all off with a smart casual blazer.

Bottoms and top aren't needed if the girl is wearing a nice figure fitting pencil or body on dress.
