How long should I let my girlfriend ignore me?

Just some info. We been together 14 months, she’s 19 I’m 18, long distance relationship for about 8 months since high school ended and were in college about an hour and a half away so we see eachother some weekends, but not all.

She got mad because I didn’t reply when she texted me and I was watching a movie (avengers infinity war) and an hour and a half passed and she said she knows I’m awake and that she’s gonna ignore me the next day or until she feels like stopping ignoring me and she hasn’t texted since, this was at midnight on Friday and it’s Sunday night now so about 2 days and still nothing from her... do I text first or should I keep waiting?

She’s done this before and before she has blocked me on everything so I can’t contact her and that lasted about 3 days and other times when she hasn’t blocked me, I would text her and try to get her to talk and if she didn’t reply then wait a couple hours and then again but eventually I started to wait a day after I sent a text and now this time I’m starting to just wait until SHE texts first because she’s the one ignoring me in the first place.

Personally I feel like she’s blowing it way out of proportion but I don't know.

What should I do?

Hell yeah she's blowing it out of proportion!! Maybe it's me because I'm not 1 to hold a grudge especially for something so small as a text that took too long but she shouldn't be upset at those things. Like what if you were napping? You can't nap now? You gunna take the "silent treatment" for 48 hrs just cause you felt like napping for 2 hours? HELL NO. Let her sit in her insecurities and wait for her to hit you up. Life is too short for that type of immaturity. (Sorry if I was being a little meanie towards you and your sweet heart I just speak strongly)

She sounds really immature. I wouldn’t let this slide in my relationship. I used to when I was younger, but, it doesn’t help build a healthy relationship. Next time you talk to her, tell her it’s getting old.

Dont waste your time on it she seems like she's not taking the long distance thing well and you're constantly leaving the ball in her court. she's known from experience that you'll eventually cave and text her but dont give her that satusfaction. If she cares she'll contact you, if not then its not worth your time or emotions to sit sround and wonder what kind of mood she'll be in.

She does seem something of a drama queen.
Had you told her you were going to movies and would be uncontactable for couple of hours?
If this is recurring you have to weigh up the long term prospects. Do you want this cycle to continue?
Get in touch, tell her you need to talk. Sit down face to face and thrash things out.

Give her some time first but just send a text explaining what happened since this usually happens when they think you're up to something and they start getting mad and overthinking everything.

Sounds like both of you are being stubborn about it, if you want a long distance relationship to last you wanna cut out the childish games asap.

That 'ignorging' is such an immature and childish behavior. She should understand that with texting its always possible that the other person may be doing something else more important and wants to finish before replying. Avengers Infinity war is an exception, I would also never reply someone in the movies, great movie by the way, (spoiler!) once we see the bad guy win.
