Why'd she just ghost me?

I got this girl's number and a few days later, we went out on a date. It went very well, and we got along super well.
She asked the next day if we could get together again, and we got together the day after. We had another nice date. She asked to take pictures together and she had a good time.
But then she didn't respond and told me she had some family issues going on. After a week, I checked in and she took a day to respond. She said she was really busy but missed me.
Then she stopped responding all together. I messaged her a week later saying that I was there for her and I was missing her. But she still didn't respond.

I don't understand.
