Asking a crush out?

Have had a good connection with a recent co worker been wanting to ask her to hang out outside of work. Instead of asking to grab coffee or dinner I was thinking of asking her if she wants to go to the driving range sometime knowing she used to play golf. I've also gone to driving ranges before but having been in a while. Would that be a good idea?
