Yes, I met the love of my life on here. I was in the hospital for the 5th time in one year and I had to stay for a week overnight, I was lonely and on the edge of going insane due to the isolation and helplessness that comes with having to stay in the hospital overnight. I was really needing human interaction and although my parents stayed with me a lot, I couldn't help but think of how great it would be to have a partner next to me holding my hand, nurturing me, and holding me down from getting up and being aggressive with my requests to release me as I felt like a prisoner in chains, hooked to a machine with a PICC line in to where I can't do anything but watch terrible daytime TV and anxiously wait until the discharge comes through. So I started messaging girls from here since dating sites cause more frustration than anything as I only match with spam bots and escorts. At first, she didn't seem too interested, so I backed off a bit. After I got out, I decided to message her again and it went very well. The big advancement I made was when I responded to her as to why I'm not in and have never been in a relationship with "It wasn't through a lack of trying, it's just that the girls I like never like me back or like someone else more, unless you like me"? *eyebrow raise emoji*. She initially dodged that by suggesting that we go on another platform so that we can keep talking, I responded happily and we started using a couple different platforms to talk as we couldn't do it by phone because she's from a different country and I don't have international service, neither does she. After roughly a week of talking every day and getting to know eachother, and having a lot of chemistry, I made my proposal for us to make it official that we are boyfriend and girlfriend, and she was very happy to accept😊💗. We're now in a very happy relationship and she's coming to visit me this summer, we've also made plans to apply for a fiance visa. She's literally the best and most wonderful girlfriend in the universe and messaging her again was definitely the best decision I've ever made in my life😊💕

yes I have. It was good, two good people with human flaws. We still talk... I'll save you all the fun and challenges, there's lots to learn but it's too much to write.

My opinion for meeting people online: Assume there are two types of people out there.
A) Decent people with well meaning intentions that have human flaws. You have to identify these and then find the ones you are compatible with. I'll bet most people cannot... and so have no business doing online anything.
B) Frauds that will control, rob, torture, abuse, and enslave if not kill.

You must acknowledge and understand (B) or else online is no place for you (the reader of this). You must also be able to filter them out, develop sufficient plans to protect yourself in meeting, dating, etc... If you are not educated about human trafficking, the fraud that occurs online then you have no business dating on GAG, FB, tiktok, instagram, or any other social media.

I'd be remiss if I didnt' go into all that. Just because my case was good doesn't mean they all are. I have genuine concern for another gagger I know who met someone online and I question if she is in big trouble.

Yes, l actually replied to a question on here he was asking about women not replying to messages on dating sites. And l found this unfair... so l stood up for myself and said that this wasn't true on all women and that it actually works both ways.
We chatted quite a bit on various questions posted (l had no idea where he was from could have been any where in the world... we would never meet so l could be as confident and honest as l wanted to be... lol.
Low and behold we were both in the UK opposite directions but in the UK at least.
We started private messaging, he decided he wanted to meet for new years eve and it went from there we started a relationship after 2 months, we got engaged after 6 months. We had some amazing times. But sadly circumstances changed and the distance we were having to live apart was taking a toll on the relationship and we parted. We are still in contact and will always be friends no matter what, maybe if things changed and we could live closer then things could work out but currently our families need us and we have to do what we have to do.
So it's very possible, it was bonkers and crazy but l would never change it and have great memories.

Yes I have. 6 years ago. She moved from across the country to live with me. We recently broke up. But yes back then we talked for months without knowing what we looked like. Just communication. We were both pleasantly surprised when we final exchanged photos.
We were engaged and knew our families very well.
She just couldn’t handle the deep months of winter. I have obligations here in the cold. Lol

We care for each other very deeply but grew apart. I will always have a soft spot for GAG. Lol

I have! She and I have been dating for 2.5 years.

She is from the Philippines and I'm from the US. We started talking around my birthday and she let me slide into her DMs and just started asking each other questions about or different cultures. We just started talking and we haven't stopped talking since then (every single day except one). We did video call regularly and those average to about 3.5 hours per day. There was a 13 or 14 hour time difference between us. It was actually really easy to communicate with her!

She recently got over to the US. She was working on coming over here before we started talk. We had our first date about a month ago (we went to Disney world). It was such a great time and we will meet up again in about 2 weeks! We live about 12 hours away driving.
