What's up with the fetishziation of generally Eastern European women?

I was browsing through my feed and saw like the 3 same questions asked "Would a eastern european women date an Asian" and it was basically answered by people like y'all who make so many stereotypes about us not by any person of Eastern European descent. Is there some influx in dating foreigners in Asia or something? Personally I like people of the same ethnicity as me and about the whole mail order bride thing it's generally frowned upon in this culture and is mainly a scam.
