And from a non-romantic perspective, well they are about as different as are all Americans, from Europeans.

Having worked in the States, cities and rural areas, I have to say that city dwellers irrespective of social level tend to be blunt and uncouth, and rural dwellers irrespective of social level tend to be polite almost to a fault. But the absolute worst are those who have spent time at the universities that specialise in the 'Humanities' where they've been infected with a dogma that thinks is supersedes everything before it, and that the male of the species is lower than a snakes arse in a wagon rut, but wonder why at the same time they cannot attract and keep a boyfriend.
