Yeah, I was in the military and she was studying to become a teacher (much more highly regarded there than in the US), so it wasn't a situation where we could easily get married and keep on our respective career paths. Ironically, she had been an exchange student in Germany and that's where I was getting stationed next. With some more creativity, I could have figured something out.

If you found the golden goose why'd you let her go? I am of european descent and most the women I grew up with were liberal and faithless. That doesn't mean I haven't met some beauties, but that has been a rarity and they were taken. I mostly interact with African American and Asian American women.
