Have you ever gotten a tattoo of your mates name on your body?

I know a 40yr old guy that got his fiance name tatted on his leg but he cheats on her.

I also know of a guy that got his mom's name tatted on his chest but told the mother of his child his mom was awful. Mind you he abandoned his child and the child's mother.

Why do some people get tattoos of people's names only to cheat and lie about it? Do they really love or care for the person whose name they got tatted? Or, are these people just insidious?

I would never, in my life, get a name tattoo. I occasionally tattoo people as a side hustle and even though it's not my main occupation, I wouldn't tattoo someone else's name on anybody either. It's one of the most pointless things I've seen and 99% of the time, the one with the tattoo regrets it and gets it lazered off.

I have 8 tattoos and I would never ever ever get someone’s name tattooed on me. My ex wanted me to meanwhile he was cheating and lying. It just overall gives people an ego boost if you tattoo their name on you. I don’t really see how a tattoo symbolizes security in a relationship at all
