If an extended family member asked you if you had any single friends, would that be weird, creepy, or worse "desperate"?

I sometimes think about asking my step sister if she knows anyone lol. But it feels weird to ask and I probably won't regardless. I live in a small town and my social circle is very small, so finding single women is extremely hard.
