Why do girls overthink everything?

This has happened so many times where I go on a couple dates, then they start overthinking things. What's their to overthink? We've been on two dates, you don't even know me.

Yes is mad how we overthink everything, every detail.
One of the many reasons can be the fact that we are supposed to act a certain way, and we would like to behave the opposite. For example, if a girl wants intimacy from the beginning she will overthink the situation because she's afraid of being catalogate as '' esay girl ''.
Another explanation, if a girl overthinks the situation, this means she's not safe, okay with how things are. She's not that into you.

Another thing, she may overthink because she really wants something serious and is afraid to ask for it, she portraits scenarios in her head and jump to conclusions so she can decide if you're worth the time/ or boyfriend material.

To conclude, I'll say we overthink mostly because we are afraid of the unknown outcome. (so we overthink to imagine/create it in our mind)
