If a guy is excited to hear from you each time you talk daily, what does that imply about the relationship, is he in lust/love/neither/something else?

Yeah I wouldn't call it lust or love. I would say that he's excited to hear from you everyday. He enjoys your company but that doesn't mean he's lusting after you It also doesn't mean that he's in love with you

I already have but haven’t really had a straight answer other than “what is love” like it’s a philosophical question that can’t be clearly defined.

I’m still giving it fair time but it’ll wear really thin eventually if nothing changes.

I’ve already bought it up after the 6 month mark to see where we’re both at. I’ll do it again between 12-18 months and walk if there’s no improvement.

I’ve already asked him how long he thinks we should give it until we move on and he just said let’s just take it day by day.

Personally I don’t see the point in wasting time so if nothing more comes for me there’s no point in my mind in sticking around. I’m already thinking about dating others and keeping options open. But I wouldn’t do that without telling him.

Yeah Thai is what I’m thinking. I’m wondering if he’s only interested in being exclusive because he knows I’m better looking than him (not to sound entitled or anything bad I’m not, but plenty of people have said it too).
